Business Management Specialist

The Current Business Manager (CBM) is responsible for the business management in the region, including day to day activities and being the main support to the regional General Manager. His or her responsibilities include but are not limited to P&L management, forecasting, corporate reporting, budget coordination, sales quotas and in general to be the main representative of the region to corporate stake holders such as credit and collection, finance, marketing, supply chain and others.

The CBM will deliver analytically rigorous and pragmatic solutions to business challenges, giving senior management alternatives and initiatives to achieve the business goals.

Responsibilities

The team responsibilities will include and not to be limited to the following areas:

  • Manage Drakkar approvals for all Print Industrial LA proposals to ensure competitive pricing in market while meeting the business objectives for Industrial AMS
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership/Customers on deals/contracts as needed
  • Lead and track funnel with Industrial Specialist team weekly
  • Lead and track LA Industrial Hardware Supply & Demand weekly
  • Support promotions quarterly (when applicable)
  • Support NPIs with pricing and positioning as needed
  • Collaborate with finance, sales operations, services and other extended teams to address and prevent TCE issues

Planning:

  • Lead all planning activities in the division, budgeting, forecasting, quotas and related.
  • Reporting and corporate reviews, strategic sessions, key metrics/dashboards.
  • Ensure consistency and predictability across content and forecast.
  • Coordinate and deploy business targets per segment.
  • Identify opportunities for potential improvements on system functionality and data sharing.
  • Partner closely with worldwide and regional BI teams.
  • Channel Inventory management
  • Buy Back and PO management
  • Constantly provide meaningful data for decision making processes across all organization.

Executive Management Support:

Support senior management in reviews successfully preparing best-in-class executive presentations and events. This will involve key messaging definition, storyboarding, communicating the needs and gathering the information, organizing it in a compelling way.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Economics or Engineering degree with great business understanding and affinity
  • Masters degree highly desired
  • 10+ years of significant and diverse professional experience in several of following roles: Current Business Management, Strategic Planning, P&L Management, Consultancy, Project Management, Product Management, Category management, Marketing, and/or Operations.
  • Experience in a multinational environment with complex organizations, working across the seams with a proven track record of negotiation and influence across all level of the organization.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Fluency in English and Spanish required
  • Strong acumen and passion for technology with demonstrated experience managing through market disruption
  • Graphics industry experience preferred
  • Ability to take ownership and resolve issues in a wide range of business areas and functions

  • Storytelling and ability to communicate effectively - able to translate complex strategies, initiatives or messages into easy-to-understand cutting-edge presentations with the ability to present to Senior Executives (L1).

  • Project Management and forward planning skills

  • Organizational agility skills, including constituent alignment and conflict resolution.

  • Financial and analytical fluency
